Let God Shape Your Life So, roll up your sleeves, put your mind in gear, be totally ready to receive the gift that’s coming when Jesus arrives. Don’t lazily slip back into those old grooves of evil, doing just what you feel like doing. You didn’t know any better then; you do now. As obedient children, let yourselves be pulled into a way of life shaped by God’s life. A life energetic and blazing with holiness. God said, “I am holy’; you be holy.” I Peter 1:13-16 Message
THE POWER OF WORSHIP Joseph Prince
“Oh come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand.” Psalm 95:6-7
Some people think that when they worship God, they are giving something to Him. On the contrary, as we worship and praise HIm, He is giving to us, imparting His life, wisdom, and power into our lives, renewing our minds and physical bodies as well in His sweet presence.
Worship is simply a response on our part to His love for us. We don’t have to, but when we experience His love and grace in our lives, we want to. It’s a response birthed out of a revelation in our hearts of just how great, how awesome, how majestic, and how altogether lovely our Lord and Savior truly is. As we worship HIm and become utterly lost in His magnificent love for us, something happens to us. We are forever changed and transformed in His presence. All fears, worries, and anxieties depart when Jesus is exalted in our worship.
Allow the music to simply wash over you like rivers of living waters. Let His presence flush out every fear and every anxiety. Let His love take away the cares that burden you. Let Jesus be magnified and glorified, and watch Him turn all things around for your good!
GOD SO LOVES YOU…Joseph Prince
“But God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.” Rom. 5:8
Jesus was the apple of God’s eye. He was God’s darling Son, His infinite joy and delight.
Yet, God gave Jesus up for you. That’s how much God loves you.
Just think about it: If you knew you could save a dying person by giving up something precious to you, would you go as far as to give up your only child whom you dearly love for that person?
Yet, that is exactly what God did to save you. Jesus, His beloved Son, died on the cross to cleanse you, heal you and redeem you–spirit, soul and body! That is how precious you are to God!

I HEARD THE BELLS ON CHRISTMAS
By Longfellow
The poem tells of the narrator’s despair, upon hearing Christmas bells during the American Civil War. We need to remember what Christmas is all about during this modern time of our nation’s history. “God is not dead, nor does He sleep.” “The Wrong shall fail, The Right prevail.”
I heard the bells on Christmas day
Their old, familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet
The words repeat
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
Till ringing, singing on its way,
The world revolved from night to day,
A voice, a chime,
A chant subline
Of peace on earth, good-will to me!
Then from each black, accursed mouth
The cannon thundered in the South,
And with the sound
The carols drowned
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
It was as if an earthquake rent
The hearth-stones of a continent,
And made forlorn
The households born
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
And in despair I bowed my head;
“There is no peace on earth,” I said;
“For hate is strong,
And mocks the song
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
Then pealed the bells more loud and deep:
“God is not dead, nor doth He sleep;
The Wrong shall fail,
The Right prevail,
With peace on earth, good-will to men!
THE COUNSEL OF THE LORD…
If I stop to think before I speak, I won’t have to worry about what I said. Carve your name on hearts, not on marble.
Therefore,
To your enemy, forgiveness.
To an opponent, tolerance.
To a friend, your heart.
To a customer, service.
To all people, love.
To every child, a good example.
To yourself, respect.
“Listen to counsel and receive instruction, that you may be wise in your latter days. There are many plans in a man’s heart, nevertheless the Lord’s counsel–that will stand.” Proverbe 19:20-21
Dr. Daniel O. C., Bishop AEGA
“When they had seen Him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this Child.” Luke 2:17
The good news of Jesus brings hope to those who are lost, light to those in darkness, joy to those in despair. It offers real transformation to the person who is caught in addiction, disillusioned by materialism or seeking purpose and direction. We share the Gospel, because we have experienced the truth and power for ourselves, and we know, personally, the “Author and Perfecter,” so we have confidence in the Gospel’s transformative power on others.
This Christmastime and beyond, let us follow the example set by the angels and shepherds. Let us use every opportunity and every means possible to spread the word about who Jesus is while showing people where they can find Him, so that they too can have a saving, personal relationship with the living Christ. It’s not just good news–it’s the best news. LET’S SHARE IT. General Brian Peddle, Salvation Army
HOW TO SERVE GOD IN FAITHFULNESS
Dr. Daniel O. C.
Service was never intended as a substitute for a godly life. True service is love for Christ in working clothes.
David had a sling.
Dorcas had a needle.
Rahab had a string.
Mary had some ointment.
Moses had a rod.
Have you some small talents you can dedicate to God?
Deuteronomy 7:9 “Therefore, know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments.”
Excuses of Moses:
- Personal unfitness Exodus 3:10-11
- Feared the unbelief of the people. Exodus 4:1
- Lack of eloquence. Exodus 4:10
- Requested that some other leader be sent. Exodus 4:13
God promised Moses help.
- The divine Presence Exodus 3:12
- Given divine authority Exodus 3:13-14
- Divine empowerment Exodus 4:2-8
- Promised human co-operation Exodus 4:14-16
KEEP A CLEAR CONSCIENCE BEFORE GOD!
“If with heart and soul you’re doing good, do you think you can be stopped? Even if you suffer for it, you’re still better off. Don’t give the opposition a second thought. Through thick and thin, keep your hearts at attention, in adoration before Christ, your Master. Be ready to speak up and tell anyone who asks why you’re living the way you are, and always with the utmost courtesy. Keep a clear conscience before God so that when people throw mud at you, none of it will stick. They’ll end up realizing that they’re the ones who need a bath. It’s better to suffer for doing good, if that’s what God wants, than to be punished for doing bad. That’s what Christ did definitively; suffered because of others’ sins, the Righteous One for the unrighteous ones. He went through it all–was put to death and then made alive–to bring us to God.

A RADICAL IDEA!
“A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” John 13:34-35
Notice Jesus said, “Love others as He has loved us.” Here is a radical idea: what if loving others starts with being willing to ask God to show us how much He loves us?
What if loving others starts with receiving, not achieving? Trusting instead of trying? For us to love people as God does, we must first learn how much God loves us.
“We love God because He loves us first” (I John 4:19).
Ed and Laurie Elliott
GOD IS ABLE AND WILLING TO HEAL YOU
Joseph Prince
“Suddenly, a man with leprosy approached HIm and knelt before Him. “Lord,” the man said, “if You are willing, You can heal me and make me clean.” Jesus reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” He said. “Be healed!” And instantly the leprosy disappeared. Matthew 8:2-3 NLT
Once there was a man with leprosy who came to Jesus saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” This man didn’t have a problem believing that Jesus had the ability and power to heal him. He just wasn’t sure if Jesus was willing to do it for him.
Jesus answered the man by touching him and saying, “I am willing Be healed.”
What did Jesus say? “I am willing.” Did He just say it and do nothing? No, He stretched forth His hand to the man and restored the afflicted man to wholeness.
Truly, God wants you to know that He is both able and willing to heal you,. Start to realize and believe that He wants you healed more than you want to be healed!
PARTY ON GOD!
One of the great truths revealed in the story of the prodigal son is that the prodigal son is that the gospel is not about our past but our present and future. The happiest person at the party wasn’t the newly restored and forgiven son but his father. The critical, faultfinding brother missed the homecoming celebration because he was busy working for what the Prodigal was receiving and experiencing freely through his father’s unconditional love.
Legalism blinds and distorts the true nature and character of God. It is only love that unveils the heart of God and can change the hearts of those who choose to trust in God’s love for themselves. Don’t miss out on what God has for you because of guilt and shame from your past. Why remember what God has forgotten?
“For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more” (Hebrews 8:12).
“God does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities” (Psalm 103:10).
WHERE DO YOU KEEP YOUR PROBLEMS?
If you keep your problems in your head, you will run mad. If you keep your problems in your heart, you will have a heart attack. If you keep your problems in your mouth, you will become too talkative. If you keep your problems in your house, you will have a broken home. If you keep your problems to yourself, you will die with them. If you keep your problems with your friends, they will create more problems for you. If you ignore your problems, you will only be prolonging the evil days. If you disclose your problems to your friends, you may be mocked. If you share it with your family, you may be disrespected. If you share your problems with your face, you may look ugly. If you disclose your problems in the office, they may be spread. If you keep your problems in your bed, you may have nightmares. If you take your problems to school, you will surely fail. If you take your problems to satan, you will surely regret.
WHY NOT PUT YOUR PROBLEMS IN A BAG AND HANG IT ON THE CROSS OF JESUS CHRIST? CHARISGLOBALVISION@DICC.ORG
DON’T WORRY–PRAY
Philippians 4:6-7 “Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life. The Message Bible
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO “Cast down Imaginations?”
By Ed Elliot
“Casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; and having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled”
(2 Corinthians 10:5-6).
Simply put, if it doesn’t line up with who God is then stop thinking or meditating on those thoughts. Paul tells believers to bring these rogue thoughts into the obedience of Jesus because Jesus said, “When you see me, you see the father “(John 14:9). Jesus is the knowledge of God. If what we believe about God does not line up with the character of Jesus, we should take hold of that false view and cast it down. It is an imagination that should no longer haunt or deceive us ever again. Because the way we view or see God determines the quality of the relationship we have with Him. If our perception of God is inconsistent with whom Jesus portrayed Him to be, then we are worshiping a false image of God. If we are worshiping a false idol, not the true God, our lives will be in turmoil.
Knowing Jesus prepares us to reject the false views about God religion tries to make us believe.
Psalm 23:6 “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life…”
The Shepherd goes before the sheep and the sheep follow Him. When you follow or pursue Him, the Good Shepherd, His goodness and mercy and all the blessings you need in life will follow after you!
Don’t pursue the blessings. Pursue Jesus, the blesser. As you pursue Him, you don’t have to be concerned about the blessing because they will follow after you! The Hebrew translation of Psalm 23:6 is much stronger and more aggressive. It literally says, “Surely goodness and mercy shall HUNT ME DOWN all the days of my life!”
YOUR ANSWER IS FOUND IN THE PERSON OF JESUS
ANDREW WOMMACK
“The God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory…give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power.”
Ephesians 1:17-19
The solution to all your problems can be found in the person of Jesus. If you are worried about your daily provisions, see Jesus as your provider–the One who multiplied five loaves and two small fish to feed more than 5,000 people with 12 baskets full of leftovers. If you need wisdom for a particular situation, see Jesus as your wisdom–the One who always has the right answer and response to every challenge. And know that He is in you and with you to guide you in your decision-making.
SHALOM! (peace)
The Hebrew Lexicon describes “shalom” as completeness, safety, soundess (in body), welfare, health, prosperity, peace, quiet, tranquility, contentment, peace used of human relationships, peace with God, especially in our covenant relationship and peace from war.
This is the shalom that Jesus has bequeathed you! All these are part or your inheritance in Christ today.
Joseph Prince
Proverbs 14:30 NIV “A heart at peace gives life to the body.”
John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

NO LONGER THE DEVIL’S TOY
They said I would never make it– a failure I would be
With scars from a life that had gone wrong
My life to the devil I gave that left without a song
A target of the devil and his lies I believed
I had become a victim of the evil one
My mind became his playground with thoughts of suicide
Little did I know a much bigger hand was placed on mine
In desperation for help cried, “save me Jesus”
He came right on time
The truth became bigger than the lies
A victor I became through the power of His name
Now I live a life of peace and joy
Not ashamed of who I am
A Masterpiece of God no longer the devil’s toy
