YOU CAN NEVER FORFEIT THE PRESENCE OF GOD

YOU CAN NEVER FORFEIT THE PRESENCE OF GOD

For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”   Hebrews 13:5

Take a look at what the Bible says about our inheritance  in Christ: “ I will never leave you nor forsake you; so we can boldly say: ‘The Lord is my helper; I will not fear.  What can man do to me?” (Hebrews 13:5-6) What confidence we can have today! Do you know what “never” here means? It means that when you are up,  He is with you. When you are down, He is with you. When you are glad, He is with you. When you are sad, He is with you. When you are doing right, He is with you.  Even when you have failed, He is still with you.! That is what it means when Jesus said that He would never leave you nor forsake you!

Because Jesus, your prosperity, peace, provision, and wisdom, is always with you,  you cannot help but prosper!

He gets the last word! I Peter 5:8-11 (Message)

He gets the last word! I Peter 5:8-11 (Message)

Keep a cool head.  Stay alert. The devil is poised to pounce, and would like nothing better than to catch you napping.  Keep your guard up. You’re not the only ones plunged into these hard times. It’s the same with Christians all over the world.  So keep a firm grip on the faith.  The suffering won’t last forever.  It won’t be long before this generous God who has great plans for us in Christ–eternal and glorious plans the are!–will have you put together and on your feet for good.  He gets the last word, yes He does.

GOD, WHERE ARE YOU?

GOD, WHERE ARE YOU?

                 Joseph Prince

Have you ever prayed and felt like you had no answer?  Cried out to God and felt like it was not heeded? Sometimes, in the worst situations, we are left wondering…where is God in the midst of this trouble I’m in?

The Bible is filled with many characters who felt this way:

ESTHER–was distressed when she found out about the evil plan to kill her people.

GIDEON–felt powerless when he compared himself to the armies around him.

DANIEL–was at his wits’ end when the King decreed to kill everyone who could not interpret his dream.

No matter what situation you may be facing today, hold on to this one truth:  God is right there with you, and He has never left you.

God is an expert at turning days of difficulty into days of deliverance.

Be filled with hope as you see how your problems could be a setup for God’s promotion in your life.

YOUR TRUE DESTINY     BY Kenneth Copeland

YOUR TRUE DESTINY     BY Kenneth Copeland

Did you know that right here in the midst of the same environment that’s dragging the world into defeat…right here in the midst of the same storms that are tearing the world apart…you and I and every other born-again child of God can live in victory!

We can put on the whole armor of God, walk right into the midst of the worst circumstances the world has to offer us, and none of them will be able to bring us down.

That’s why God told us to put on His armor in the first place!  He knew it would protect us. The Word of the living God and the full armor of God is bulletproof.  It’s sickness-proof, debit-proof, recession-proof. It will cause you to stand when everything around you is falling apart.

But you have to get dressed.  You have to walk in it!

You can’t give it a passing nod and then go on watching what the world watches and saying what the world says.  If you keep copying the world’s ways,  you’re going to share the world’s destiny.  But if you’ll copy Jesus–if you’ll say what He says and nothing else–you’ll share His destiny.  It’s your choice.

Romans 12:2 “Be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect  will of God.” You won’t find the will of God by copying the world.  You’ll find it by copying Jesus.   “If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed.  And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”  John 8:31

Factor in the power of His Word! Factor in His Anointing!

2 Corinthians 10:5  “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.”

When we’re confronted by impossible situations in this world, we have a covenant right to factor in Jesus!  Factor in the power of His Word! Factor in His Anointing!

Some say, “That sounds too easy.”  No, it’s not easy! When the devil begins to pull the noose of hopelessness around your neck with poverty or sickness or some other terrible situation, you have to fight and fight hard.  And you fight hard by grabbing hold of the hope in the Word and using it to demolish every thought that would rise up against it.

The battleground where hope is won or lost is not on the streets, it’s in the mind.  It’s in the imagination where expectancy begins to take form. So take your stand on that battleground.  Begin now to expect the anointing to destroy the yokes in your life. Begin now to expect God to keep His covenant promises to you.

Fight for that expectancy in the Name of Jesus.  Take your hope, fill it with faith and storm the gates of hell.  They will not prevail against you! Kenneth Copeland

“I cast down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God.  I bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.”

ANCHOR YOUR IDENTITY IN CHRIST

The devil uses the first-person pronoun to sow thoughts such as these in your mind. “I have an eating disorder’ or I am addicted to pornography, or drugs, or alcohol” He makes you think that you are thinking those thoughts of defeat. He wants you to believe that is who you are. If you can change what you believe, you can change your life.
Are there lies about your identity that you believe in today? Break the power of those lies by declaring your identity in Christ. Say out loud, “I am a child of God. Say out loud, “I am a child of God, I am healed, forgiven, righteous, and holy in Christ Jesus.”
Instead of believing the devil’s lies when he uses the first-person pronoun strategy against you, speak your true identity in Jesus.    Joseph Prince

I WASN’T MADE TO BE A MOM – Aly Taylor

I WASN’T MADE TO BE A MOM….. Aly Taylor

I  learned that being a mother is not who I was made to be.  That is not who I am. Because you see, being a mother describes me, but that is not me.

And being a mother isn’t about me anyway.  This thing called motherhood is not for me to feel fulfilled.  Yes, it often does not. But being a mother is not to fulfill me.  Yes, it fulfills me in many ways, but that was never its sole purpose.

Oftentimes, when mothers are asked, “Who are you?”, we respond with “a mom” or “a wife” or “a teacher”–whatever “role” we have.

THIS IS WHO YOU REALLY ARE…

I AM:  determined, strong, a child of God, beautiful in God’s eyes, the righteousness of God in Christ, blameless, goal-oriented, an overcomer, a survivor,, loving, a wife, faithful friend, a daughter, a niece, hardworking, peacemaker, fun-loving, encouraging, joyful…

I AM A CHILD OF THE MOST HIGH GOD.

Before my calling of being a wife, before my calling of being a mom, before my calling of being a therapist, speaker, writer, etc., I am called to be His–  A child of God.

Remember your first and highest calling.   Share with your kids what you were made to be.    HIS CHILD

NOT DEFINED BY YOUR SCARS  by   RACHEL SHAFER

NOT DEFINED BY YOUR SCARS

                                        RACHEL SHAFER

We can dress them up, cover them up, and hide emotional scars in all sorts of creative ways.  With a physical scar, once it fades if becomes a distant memory. It’s something that happened and you’ve recovered.  It becomes a story to tell. Bit with an emotional scar, it’s easier to hide it rather than expose it.

If we’re not careful the emotional scar doesn’t fade the way it supposed to.  Emotional scars can keep us from leading the life we’re supposed to live. We may think things like:

“I can’t pursue my dream because I tried and failed.”

“I can’t trust again because that trust was broken.”

“ I can’t believe that ;  do you know what happened to me?”

“Do you know what I’ve been through?”

Those are the ways we reopen a wound that should have healed and faded.  With emotional scars, we let them heal a little, then reopen them, let them heal a little more and reopen them until it sometimes becomes a bigger scar than it needs to be.

It’s time to let the emotional scars fade.   It’s time to let them heal and not reopen them.  Don’t let emotional scars become excuses that hinder what God has for your future.  You can allow your scars to become a part of the story you tell of God’s overcoming power in your life.

God is saying, “Let Me fade your scars.”  Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord.  “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”

The scar doesn’t have to remind you of the person who hurt you or the situation that caused your hurt.   The scar can remind you of Jesus and how He completely transformed your life. It’s a decision we can make.  It can make a mark on you that identifies you in Christ instead of being identified by the scar. We are not defined by what has scarred us.  We are defined by our heavenly Creator.

FROM GLORY TO GLORY   Joseph Prince

FROM GLORY TO GLORY   Joseph Prince

“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.”                                      2 Corinthians 3:18

I believe that Jesus is doing great work in your life right now.  Maybe you can’t see it because there’s something that you have done in your past that you just can’t seem to shake off, that seems like weights around your feet holding you down…

You need to understand that what you see or how others see you is not as important as how God sees you.  May people think that God sees them in their sins and is just waiting to pounce on them to punish them. This wrong belief produces wrong living.  If you see God this way, you can’t help but be in constant fear, insecurity, and anxiety over your past sins. Today, make a decision to turn your eyes to Jesus, for He has already made you, the believer, righteous with His blood!

The more you behold Jesus, the more you are transformed “from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.” 2 Cor. 3:18  Fixing your eyes on Jesus is the greatest holiness. Many think they have to do more in order to be more holy, accepted, and loved by God.  The truth is, when you behold Jesus more and see His love, His forgiveness, His abundant grace, and His gift or righteousness purchased for you with His own blood, you will be transformed supernaturally.

Holiness is a by-product of seeing Jesus in His grace.  When you see Jesus and receive His love and grace every day, your heart is transformed inwardly.  This is not outward behavior modification. This is real change that is sustained by a heart touched by His grace and by an emancipated conscience that is forever greed from guilt.  This is when addiction begins to drop from your life. This is when fear begins to dissolve in His perfect love, and that condemnation arising from your past mistakes is cleansed by His precious blood.

Can you see it?  Can you see what He sees?

THE BEST DRESSED CHRISTIAN–

THE BEST DRESSED CHRISTIAN–

So, chosen by God for this new life of love, dress in the wardrobe God picked out for you:  compassion, kindness, humility, quiet strength, discipline.  Be even-tempered, content with second place, quick to forgive an offense.  Forgive as quickly and completely as the Master forgave you. And regardless of what else you put on, wear love.  It’s your basic, all-purpose garment.  Never be without it.        Colossians 3:12-14

IF YOU’RE REDEEMED, SAY SO!!  BY Joyce Meyer

IF YOU’RE REDEEMED, SAY SO!!  BY Joyce Meyer

When you realize that the devil is trying to distract you,  don’t just sit around and let him beat you up with worry and negative thoughts.  Open you mouth and begin to confess your authority in Christ.

Satan places anxious and worried thoughts in our minds, sometimes actually “bombarding” our minds with them.  He hopes we will receive them and begin “saying” them out of our mouths. If we do, he then has material to actually create the circumstances in our lives he has been giving us anxious thoughts about.

    DON’T BE THE DEVIL’S MOUTHPIECE!

Find out what God’s Word promises you and begin to declare His two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12).

Psalm 107:2 Let the redeemed of the Lord so; whom He has delivered from the hand of the adversary.”

Psalm 91:3-4   “For (then) He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence.  (Then) He will cover you with His pinion, and under His wings shall you trust and find refuge.  His truth and His faithfulness are a shield and a buckler.”

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF SMALL-TOWN CHURCHES?

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF SMALL-TOWN CHURCHES?
Small-town churches exist to equip the saints to do the work of the ministry and to edify the body of Christ. (Eph. 4:11-16)  It’s difficult to edify, encourage and build up the body of Christ without being a part of it. We find it difficult to love others at a distance.   Have we been taken in by the trickery and cunning craftiness of the world?
“How can every part do its share and cause growth in the body and be disconnected from the local church?” Our arms, our legs, our eyes, our internal organs, all of these are important if we are to survive and to grow.  Today, people judge churches by the wrong rubric. We should not focus on the songs we sing, the buildings we enter to worship, and the type of seats we sit in, the instruments used or what the church/Pastor/service does for me.   You and I can read the Bible and pray, but we still need regular participation in the local body of believers for our spiritual health. The small-town church can help believers to live the Christian life, for life is what we are about.

Secrets of Protection in the Names of God

Secrets of Protection in the Names of God
“The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.  And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; for You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You. “  Psalm 9:9-10
Each of the names of God has a divine attribute, and understanding and believing that He is each attribute will cause that attribute to flow into our lives.  The first name of God mentioned in Psalm 91 is “Most High” (Elyon), which means He is the Most High God and there is no one higher than Him.  He is the possessor of heaven and earth. The verse goes on to refer to God as the “Almighty.”  In Hebrew, it is Shaddai–the God who blesses you with more than enough, more than you can contain.  Man has limitations but we have a God who is abundantly unlimited.
The second verse of Psalm 91 contains another two names of God.   “I will say of the Lord,” he is referring to Yehavah or Yahweh, the covenant-keeping God.  It is the holiest name of the Lord, the name Jewish scribes treat with great reverence.  The second name of God “My God in HIm I will trust.” Elohim, is the name that means the God of power, the Creator.
The name Jesus in Hebrew Yeshua, actual means “Yahweh saves,”  If you are broke, Yahweh saves.  If you are sick, Yahweh saves.  If you have enemies that are coming against you, Yahweh saves. Whatever saving you need, Jesus is the answer, for His name means “Yahweh saves.”  Hallelujah!          By Joseph Prince

DECLARE YOUR HEALING   Becky Dvorak

DECLARE YOUR HEALING   Becky Dvorak

I will boldly declare my healing; even when the attack of the enemy bear’s down hard and the reports shout death,  I will not fear. I put my trust in my God.

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the  power that works in us. To Him the glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever.” (Eph. 3:20-21)

Like Abraham I make a quality decision to believe “in the presence of Him whom he believed– God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did”  (Rom. 4:17). I boldly declare His abundant life, healing, power, and supernatural strength to overtake my body.

I bind myself to the power of the blood of Jesus to take down this illness, to heal me, to recreate this physical body of mine, to renew my strength.  According to the healing words of Isaiah 40:29-31, Because I wait upon the Lord, I will mount up with wings like eagles, I will run and not be weary, I will walk and not faint, In Jesus’ name I declare, amen.

And this day I boldly declare God’s promise about my healing that  “I will not die, but live and declare the works of the Lord,” Psalm 118:17.

“The Hand of God has turned the tide.”

“The Hand of God has turned the tide.”

               Psalm 118:5-16  Message Bible

Pushed to the wall, I called to God;  from the wide open spaces, He answered.  God’s now at my side and I’m not afraid; who would dare lay a hand on me?  God’s my strong champion. I flick off my enemies like flies. Far better to take refuge in God than trust in people; Far better to take refuge in God than trust in celebrities.  Hemmed in by barbarians, in God’s name I rubbed their faces in the dirt, Like swarming bees, like wild prairie fire, they hemmed me in. In God’s name I rubbed their faces in the dirt.  I was right on the cliff-edge, ready to fall, when God grabbed  and held me. God’s my strength, He’s also my song, and now He’s my salvation.  Hear the shouts, hear the triumph songs in the camp of the saved?

“The hand of God has turned the tide!  The hand of God is raised in victory! The hand of God has turned the tide!”

God’s Word of Wisdom for 2019

God’s Word of Wisdom for 2019

Psalm 1  The Message Bible

How well God must like you–
You don’t hang out at Sin Saloon,
You don’t slink along Dead-End Road,
You don’t go to Smart-Mouth College.

Instead you thrill to God’s Word
You chew on Scripture day and night.
You’re a tree replanted in Eden,
    Bearing fresh fruit every month,
Never dropping a leaf,
    Always in blossom.

You’re not at all like the wicked
    Who are mere windblown dust–
Without defense in court,
    Unfit company for innocent people.

God charts the road you take,
The road they take is Skid row.

From the gospel of Luke, chapter 1

From the gospel of Luke, chapter 1

32 “He will be great and eminent and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David;

33  “And He will reign over the house of Jacob (Israel) forever, and of His kingdom there shall be no end.

37      The angel said, “For with God nothing (is or ever) shall be impossible.”

And Mary said,

38          “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; May it be done to me according to your word.”

46-47       “My soul magnifies and exalts the Lord, and my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior.

49              “For He Who is mighty has done great things for me; And holy is His name (to be worshiped in His purity, majesty and glory).

“Do no be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people.”
