Message for December 18, 2022 from Pastor Shirley

Have y’all heard the word “mulligrubs”?  I have but never knew the meaning.  So what  do you do if you don’t know the meaning of a word?  Google it of course. Mulligrubs-a despondent, sullen, or ill-tempered mood, to be of low spirits.  At one time or another we all have had a good case of the mulligrubs.  From past experience I have just woken up feeling low of spirits or just in an ill mood.  Now I know it is just a mulligrub spirit trying to discourage me.
The next time you get the mulligrubs  (not if but when)  be like David and talk to yourself.
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.  Psalm 45:15
