Message for April 20, 2025 from Pastor Shirley

Matthew 28:2-7  “And then there was a great earthquake.  For the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it.  His countenance was like lightning, and his garments were white as snow.  The soldiers shook with fear of him and became like dead men.  The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid.  For I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.  He is not here.  For He has risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.  Then go quickly and tell His disciples that He has risen from the dead, and indeed, He is going before you to Galilee.  There you will see Him. Listen, I have told you.”   

Before they died.
Muhammad said, “I don’t know the purpose of life.”                                                                                                                        Buddha said, “Seek the truth.”                                                                                                             
Confucius said, “I am not the way.”                            
Muhammad, Buddha, and Confucius are still in their graves. 

Our GOD Lives!                                                        
Jesus is the only one who rose again!
Jesus is the only one with the power over death!
Jesus is the only way to the truth!

Acts 2:24: “But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because death couldn’t keep its hold on him.”                                                          
John 14:6 “Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and  the life.”
