Looking away

Hebrews 12:2 “Looking away (from all that will distract) to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith…”amp
There is so much going on in our lives-our jobs, our family, our church. Any of these can distract us from having fellowship with the “Word” and instead fellowship with our problems. We can get so concerned about our finances that we forget that “My God shall supply our your needs…” We look at all the problems facing our children and family and forget what the Word promises about them.
We must “look away” from all that would distract us and focus on the Word of God and our fellowship with Jesus.
The more attention we give the “problem” the more power it has over us. I can’t change them anyway. But God has the power to change people and circumstances. Quit speaking your problems and speak the Word.
