Forgiveness will do nothing to change the past, but it can change your future.
Ed Elliot
Reconciliation isn’t based on one party apologizing to another. It’s about choosing to walk in love even if the other person never apologizes.
“To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation” 2 Corinthians 5:19
“And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves; for charity shall cover the multitude of sins” I Peter 4:8]
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans. 8:38-39
“For it, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.” Romans 5:10
