Message for October 11, 2026 from Pastor Shirley

Abraham and Sarah were old and past childbearing, but God…
Isaac planted seed in a famine, but God caused a 100-fold harvest.
Israel was trapped between sea and army, but God opened the sea.
They were without food and water, but God caused water from a rock and bread from heaven.
Hannah was barren, but God gave her Samuel.
A woman lost her husband and was about to lose her sons because of debt.  God caused the oil not to run dry until she filled enough jars to pay off her debt.
Jehosaphat and Judea were attacked by three armies, but God turned the odds.
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego were thrown into a furnace that was made seven times hotter, but a fourth appeared in the flame with them, and they weren’t burned.
Daniel was thrown into the lions’ den, but God gave him sleep.
A woman was caught in the very act of adultery.  Stoning was her sentence.  She was expecting death.  But God, when all her accusers had walked away, said, “Neither do I condemn you.”
Lazarus was dead four days, but God. . .
   Peter betrayed Christ. . . but God. . .
Paul was stoned, but God. . . He was beaten, but God. . . He was imprisoned, but God. . . He was shipwrecked, but God. . .
What is your story? Let’s believe for a “But God” ending this year.  A year of significance that is contrary to natural expectation.
     Praise God!
