Message for June 15, 2025 from Pastor Shirley

From now on, let it not be an ‘I can’t’ attitude, but an attitude of one who proclaims, ‘I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.’   If I have been brought to it, I can get through it by God’s grace and mercy. 

Have you taken a moment to assess your attitude lately?              
A positive attitude goes a long way when things are not going well.  We find our attitude adjustment in the Bible.  God is a God of encouragement.  He has given us the Word to know how to overcome anything life may throw at us.  The Word will always move (grow) us forward.  Could it be that our circumstances are not making us depressed, but our attitude toward those circumstances?

It’s not just about outward behavior, but also about the inner state of mind and heart. The Bible emphasizes the importance of having the right attitude, which is aligned with God’s will and principles.” 

TRUST IN GOD Blessed Assurance, Jesus is mine
He’s been my fourth man in the fire time after time
Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood
And what He did for me on Calvary is more than enough
I trust in God, my Savior
The one who will never fail
He will never fail
Perfect submission, all is at rest
I know the author of tomorrow has ordered my steps
