Message for September 8, 2024 from Pastor Shirley

Malachi 4:2 “But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and you will go forward and leap joyfully like released and you   calves of the stall.”  

In Scripture, His healing is metaphorically associated with wings.  Representation of power, to move, to act, to protect. 

Psalms 36:7  “How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.”

Psalms 61:4  “I will seek refuge in the covering of Your wings.”

Psalms 91:1-4 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.  I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust. Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the hunter and from the deadly pestilence.  He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall find protection; His faithfulness shall be your shield and wall.
