Do not be drunk with wine, for that is reckless living. But be filled with the Spirit.  Speak to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.  Ephesians 5:18-19 

Kingdom Dynamics  “Encouraging One Another to Praise”

This text in Ephesians 5:18-19 instructs interaction in our praise.  Paul tells the Ephesians to “(speak) to one another,” using psalms and hymns and spiritual songs. Entering a gathering of believers, even with a small offering of praise or worship to be magnified as we join with others. Their voices encourage us, and we inspire them. Separation from the local assembly deprives a person of this relationship and its strength. Let us assemble often and praise each other in praise.

 Acts 16:25  “At midnight, Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly, there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken. And immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone’s shackles were loosened.”
