...”My kingdom is not of this world.  If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would fight,…but now My kingdom is not from here.” John 18:36

I am becoming more and more convinced that we are on the verge of a dramatic change in the way life will be for us.  We have gotten into a pattern of thinking that can distract us from our focus on the Kingdom.  The Kingdom of God is not an earthly kingdom, nor is it associated with an earthly kingdom.  We must remember that in reference to our future.
I am concerned about the future of our country.  It is slipping away from its ties to the Kingdom of God.  As this continues we will see a deteriation of our national fiber.  This cannot be seen as a threat to the Christian kingdom.  Christianity existed and flourished centuries before the USA was even thought of. It will be around when the USA is gone.
Christianity outlived Israel.  It outlived Roman.  It reformed Europe then lost favor with the masses.  It helped found this country and is now losing its influence here.  I believe this to be true;”the United States was made for Christians, not Christians for the United States”. Apart from being a safe haven for His people this country has no special place in God’s favor.  God created a people not a nation.
