Message for March 16, 2025 from Pastor Shirley

A few years ago I was in prayer with the Lord and I saw God sitting in a chair.  I walked over and looked over his shoulder.  There was a canvas in front of him and his right hand was raised up holding paintbrush.  He knew what I was thinking (what are you doing) and he responded to my thoughts, “I Am painting on the canvas of your life.  Trust me always”.         

 Ephesians 2:10   “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them”.   Other translations read, “We are – God’s masterpiece his handiwork.

In the Bible, the phrase “right hand of God” is a metaphor for God’s power, authority, and favor.  God wants the best for us and his plan is good. And he is always at work in our lives to bring about purpose.  Jeremiah 29:11  “I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for”.               

God is the greatest artist of all times.  He is actively shaping and guiding our lives even when life is hard. We may not see God working on our behalf however he is always in motion on our behalf.  Trust the Artist!
