Message for June 1m 2025 from Pastor Shirley

“But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart. This is the word of faith that we preach: that if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved, for with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.          
Romans 10:8-9  

This Scripture teaches us the importance and power of faith’s confession.  This confession started with our salvation in trusting God for salvation.  This confession leads you into the fullness of your salvation.  The word salvation is more than going to Heaven when you die.  Salvation is more than being forgiven of your sins. 

Spirit Filled Bible Kingdom Dynamics tells us: “Salvation is deliverance, soundness, prosperity, preservation, happiness, general well-being, rescue.  The word is used both in a temporal sense and in a spiritual, eternal sense.  The New Testament especially uses the word for spiritual well-being.  Salvation is a present possession with a fuller realization of the future.” 

All of the above are related to the word “salvation” and are the benefits of our spiritual well-being.  Those things are a present possession. 

“Blessed be the Lord who daily loads us with His benefits.”  Psalms 68:19
