RECOVER ALL

So David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I overtake them?” And he answered him, “Pursue for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.” 1 Samuel 30:8 “

David was greatly distressed but strengthened himself in the Lord. 1 Samuel 30:6  The word strengthened means encouraged. (literally made himself strong). Strengthened by Yahweh

When God told David to “recover all” after the Amalekites raided in Ziklag taking captive all the women and children and plundering all their belongings the word recover means to get back everything that was lost or stolen, with nothing missing, including his wives, people, livestock, and possessions, signifying total restoration, restitution, and even surplus, a pattern for believers to pursue complete restoration in their own lives through faith and obedience.

Copied- Meaning of “Recover All” Total Retrieval: It’s not just getting some back, but everything (small, great, sons, daughters, spoil).Restoration & Restitution: It implies a return to a former state of wholeness, healing, and even improvement after a loss or damage.  Redemption of Wasted Time/Years: In a spiritual sense, it refers to God restoring wasted seasons, opportunities, finances, health, and relationships. Overcoming the Enemy: It signifies God’s power to trump the enemy’s plans and use them for our benefit, bringing breakthroughs. In essence, “recover all” is a promise of complete restoration, a call to pursue God’s direction to reclaim what the enemy has stolen, leading to wholeness and abundance, not just returning to the starting point, but gaining more.
