Message for January 9, 2022 from Pastor Shirley

   All it takes is one click to hear the news on TV, one click to see social media posts.  We can hear all the news or see all the news we desire.  Most of which have a worldly agenda.  This news gives no hope. No council of good.  
      Those that have been born again have the greatest news ever told.  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.  John 3:16  This is good news. 
      In Mark 16:15, we read “and he said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.  We are commissioned, anointed and equipped to  spread this Good News.  Isaiah 61:1 states, “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives,  and to open the prison to those who are bound.”  
      The Word is seed and we are sowing seed in the hearts of those we share the Good News with.  This Good News will do good and will bring hope. 
       My word will go out and not return to Me empty. But it will do what I wanted; it will accomplish what I determined. Isaiah 55:11

       Let us be about the Fathers business.
