Message for January 31, 2021 from Pastor Jerry

“Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.  Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come.  It will not tarry.  Behold the proud, his soul is not upright in him; but the just shall live by his faith.” Habakkuk 2:2-4

“By faith Abraham obeyed when  he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance.  And he went out, not knowing where he was going.” Heb. 11:8

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” II Cor. 5:7

     If God has changed His mind about our mission, I did not get the memo.  Jesus gave His disciples a mission right before going back to heaven.  He said, ”Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mk. 16:15 We have managed to complicate the mission orders.  That can be seen in the dozens of “Christian” denominations that have developed over the last two thousand years.  It is time to reconsider our orders and how we are told to implement them.  God’s way always works better than ours.
