On the playground of the grade school I attended was a monkey bar. The only way you could get from one bar to the next one was to let go of the one you were holding on to. As little girl it sure seemed a long way from one bar to the next. I would hold on forever before reaching out to grab the next one because I was afraid of falling. Most of the time I would fall as I reached out to grab the next bar. But I knew I had to “let go” in order to go from one bar to the next. It’s so easy to try to hold onto things, you must trust that God has something better. What God has in store for you is never in the past. “LET IT GO” It is time to move on towards Him. He has so much more than those things that you are holding to on to because it is so familiar.
Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, and He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way.”
