God’s Law of Supply and Demand by Ed Elliot

God’s Law of Supply and Demand  by  Ed Elliot
The law of Moses demands righteousness, but God’s grace supplies righteousness.  What the law demands from us, God provides to us as a free gift.
No one was able to keep all of God’s laws perfectly but Jesus.  That is wh6y He gave us His righteousness and took away all our sins.
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God” (2 Corinthians 5:21).
“Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world.”(John 1:29).

The Power of Forgiveness by Ed Elliot

The Power of Forgiveness
The same Jesus who forgave the woman caught in adultery, the thief on the cross, Peter for denying Him and those who beat Him and drove nails through His hands and feet is still the same Jesus today (Hebrews 13:8).
As the body of Christ, we should show the same compassion and mercy to those caught in similar situations as Jesus did.  Forgiveness isn’t condoning sin; it opens a door for the heart to receive mercy. God uses mercy to purge the heart of sin (Proverbs 16:6).  A person’s ability to forgive comes from knowing and believing how God has forgiven him/her.  You cannot give to others what you do not possess yourself.  You cannot lead others where you have not gone.

The Secret to Jesus’ Obedience by Ed Elliot

The Secret to Jesus’ Obedience

Jesus didn’t obey the law of Moses so His Father would love Him.  He fulfilled the law because He was convinced of His Father’s love for Him (Matthew 5:17).

“As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you.  Now remain in my love”  (John 15:9).

The religious trap many fall into today is trying to live their lives in such a way it will cause God to love them.  The truth is believers’ lives should reflect the fact they know and are convinced of the love God has for them.

“Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law”  (Romans 13:8).

Even if it were possible for people to perfectly obey the law of Moses, it wouldn’t make them loving, kind, and compassionate.  The reason is, the law is devoid of mercy, and mercy is a characteristic of love.  Jesus used mercy to bring people to God  (Matthew 9:13).

It isn’t obeying the law that helps a person be more loving and compassionate.  It is knowing how much God loves you that transforms you into a loving person.   Hence, Jesus taught His disciples to remain or live in His love for them.  He knew how life-transforming His love for them was.

The apostle Paul taught that “love fulfills the law” but the law will not make anyone full of love or even a loving person.

The primary difference is that the law works from the outside and love works from the inside.

 WHAT IS THE HARDEST PART?

     WHAT IS THE HARDEST PART?

Sometimes the hardest part about “walking in love,” is believing God loves and forgives us unconditionally.  Until that truth is established in your heart, walking in love will be an impossible way of life. Believing God’s love for you is the exact same as it is for His Son Jesus, is not that easy, but it is an undeniable fact.

“I in them and you in me–so that they may be brought to complete unity.  Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me”  (John 17:23).

“What shall separate us from the love of Christ?  Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?  As it is written:  “For your sake we face death all day long;  we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”  No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.  For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord,”

(Romans 8:35-38).        Ed Elliot

The Blood of the Lamb is Powerful

The Blood of the Lamb is Powerful
I stumbled on this story and knew it would bless you.
A rattlesnake bit one of my sheep in the face about a week ago.  Deadliest snake that lives around here.  The sheep’s face swelled up and hurt her terribly.
But the old rattlesnake didn’t know the kind of blood that flows through the sheep.  Anti-venom is most often made from sheep’s blood.  The sheep swelled for about 2 days but the blood of the lamb destroyed the venom of the serpent.
I was worried but the sheep didn’t care.  She kept on eating, kept on drinking and kept on climbing because she knew she was alright.
Often the serpents of this life will reach out and hate us.  They inject their poison into us but they cannot overcome the blood of the Lamb of God that washes away the sin of the world and the sting of death.  Don’t worry about the serpent or his bite;  just make sure the Lamb’s blood is flowing through your veins.

You are Priceless in God’s Eyes!

You are Priceless in God’s Eyes!
The Bible teaches all people are unworthy but that does not mean we are “worthless.”  God paid a great price to redeem mankind.  The value of something is always determined by the price one is willing to pay.
We use the term, “priceless” today to illustrate no amount of money on the earth could buy or purchase what one considers “priceless.”  All the gold, diamonds, and wealth of the earth could not purchase man’s redemption.  It took something of far greater value to pay the price.  All the gold, precious stones and the pearly gates in heaven could not pay what was required.  It required something of far greater value, so God sent the most valuable and precious gift He had to pay the price for man’s salvation:  His dear Son, Jesus.  Therefore, in God’s eyes, we are “priceless.”
Nothing on earth could purchase us, but the value God saw in His Son is the value He sees in us.  “For you are bought with a great price.  Glorify and bear God in your body” (I Corinthians 6:20).

God’s Love Hates Sin by Ed Elliot

    God’s Love Hates Sin

                          Ed Elliot

God’s love in manifestation is not only unconditional, it also hates the sin  that kills, steals, and destroys people’s lives.

Actually, God hates sin with the same passion and intensity that He loves because of the immense damage it does to those He loves so passionately.

Occasionally I run across people who chose to live in sin.  They claim they know God loves them as if that fact justifies their lifestyles.  Unarguably, God loves them but evidently, those people are clueless what it means to know and trust in God’s love.  My two boys don’t question my love for them.  Whenever they were afraid, they would run to me knowing I would protect them because I loved them. Believers who entertain sin and see nothing wrong with it, have yet to grasp God’s love for them because we all know God hates sin.  He is love.  So the God-kind of love flowing from our hearts will also teach us to hate sin because sin is death.  God does not want you to live in sin.  It will destroy you and harden your heart to Him.  People who know and experience God’s love will, like God, hate sin too.    “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they might have life, and have it  to the full”  (John 10:10).

How do you see yourself? by Joseph Prince

How do you see yourself?
“For as he thinks in his heart, so is he,”  Proverbs 23:7.
The Bible says, “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.”  This means that how you see yourself determines your physical health.  So how do you see yourself in the midst of your symptoms, or after hearing your doctor’s negative report?
Beloved, the truth is that through Jesus’ finished work at the cross, you are completely righteous and completely redeemed from every curse of sickness (Galatians 3:13).  You are God’s beloved child for whom Jesus did a complete work to save, heal, and deliver.
So don’t see yourself as the sick trying to get healed.  You are the healed, righteous  and beloved child of God facing some symptoms.  Be of good cheer!  There is no disease or condition that is greater than the perfect, finished work Jesus has accomplished for you.  Declare that you’ve been made in Christ and see your body manifest this truth!

WON OVER BY GOD’S GRACE By Joseph Prince

WON OVER BY GOD’S GRACE By Joseph Prince
It is vital for you to receive the gift of no condemnation because that is what will give you the power to overcome your weaknesses, destructive habits, and addictions.  If you believe that God condemns you for your failures, would you run to Him for help?
Look at how Jesus gave a sinner the power to sin no more.  He defended the woman who was caught in adultery.  He looked tenderly into her eyes and asked her,  “Woman, where are those accusers of yours?  Has no one condemned you?”  She said, “ No one, Lord.”  And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.”  John 8:10-11
The ten commandments cannot make you holy  and cannot put an end to sin.  The power to stop sin from destroying your life comes from receiving the gift of no condemnation from Jesus.  Your Savior, who has fulfilled the law on your behalf, says to you,  “Where are those who condemn you?  NEITHER DO I CONDEMN YOU.   No, go and sin no more.”  This is grace, my friend.  This is His unmerited favor!  The Law says that God will not condemn you only if you stop sinning.  However, Grace says, “I have taken your condemnation on the cross.  Now, you can go and sin no more..”
Romans 6:14  “sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace (unmerited favor.”  If you are still struggling with sin,  It is time to stop depending on the law.  Fall upon His unmerited favor like the apostle Paul did.  When you know that Christ has made you righteous apart from your works, and that He has perfected you by His unmerited favor, that will give you the ability to overcome every sinful temptation, habit and addiction in your life. He does not condemn you for your past, present, and even future mistakes because all the mistakes that you will make in this life have already been nailed to the cross.  You are now free to sin no more, experiencing victory and success over every sin and bondage in your life!

God has not lost track of you!!

God has not lost track of you!!
Isaiah 40:31   Message Bible
Why would you ever complain, O Jacob, or, whine, Israel, saying, “God has lost track of me.  He doesn’t care what happens to me”? Don’t you know anything?  Haven’t you been listening?  God doesn’t come and go.  God lasts.  He’s Creator of all you can see or imagine.  He doesn’t get tired out, doesn’t pause to catch his breath.  And he knows everything, inside and out.  He energizes those who get tired, and gives fresh strength to dropouts.  For even young people tire and drop out, young folk in their prime stumble and fall.  But those who wait upon God get fresh strength.  They spread their wings and soar like eagles.  They run and don’t get tired, they walk and don’t lag behind.

IT TAKES A LIFETIME to realize that one’s Dad was the best

IT TAKES A LIFETIME to realize that one’s Dad was the best
WHEN I WAS 4 years, I knew my dad to be THE BEST!
WHEN I WAS 6, I also knew Dad to have known it all…
WHEN I WAS 10 years of age, I knew Dad to be good…
WHEN I WAS 12 years, I began to think that Dad wasn’t as good as he was when I was a little boy…
WHEN I WAS 14 years old, I began discovering him to be more temperamental and stricter as never before…
WHEN I WAS 16, I was convinced that he was old school, and was not up to standard-to the current times we live in…
WHEN I TURNED 18, I thought Dad was very intolerant and hard to communicate with & also difficult to get along with…
WHEN I TURNED 20, I realized that he wasn’t an easy person, and began wondering how Mom was able to put up with him in all the years of marriage…
WHEN I TURNED 25, it seemed like he had many objections to everything that i did…
WHEN I TURNED 30, I was convinced that we were not on the same page, and that nothing would ever please him…
WHEN I TURNED 40, I then only began to realize how good my upbringing was, and that I should also raise my kids up in the same way…
WHEN I TURNED 45, I started wondering how did Dad ever put up with all the challenges he faced with us whilst we were growing up…
WHEN I TURNED 50, I realized how difficult it was for Dad to have educated us and trying to instill good manners in us, thus I began wondering how he managed to tolerate our excuses.
WHEN I WAS 55 years of age, I only then started realizing the wisdom & foresight my Dad had of life in getting us to where we are today…
WHEN I TRUNED 50, ONLY then did I eventually realized that MY DAD WAS THE BEST.

IT TAKES US A LIFECYCLE TO REALLY APPRECIATE OUR FATHER.

How to Judge Spirituality   Kenneth Hagin

How to Judge Spirituality   Kenneth Hagin
“One Sunday morning during the summer of 1943, I was preaching at a church in north-central Texas.  My text was Colossians 2:9,10, where it says ‘ye are complete in him,’ and my title was “What is Spirituality?”  I have never been brave enough to use that text again.
I asked the question: Where would you go to look for a spiritual person?
Some thought of people in our church who were quick to jump, quick to dance, quick to shout, and they said, “they’re spiritual.”  I told the congregation, “That’s not spirituality.  You can’t judge spirituality by that.”
Somebody else said, “So-and-so is always talking in tongues and is always giving messages in tongues, so he’s really spiritual.”  I said, “No, no.  You can’t judge spirituality by that, because God will use any kind of vessel He can.  I read where He talked through a donkey one time.  That doesn’t mean that the donkey was spiritual.
“No,” I said, “I know that spiritual people do go to church, but I wouldn’t even go to church if I were looking for a spiritual person.  You know the first place I’d go?”  They all said, “No.”
I said, “ I’d go to a person’s home.”    You see, when it comes to religious things, people are two faced.  They’ve got one face they wear on Sunday, and another face they wear another day.  I’ve seen them as pastors.  I’ve knocked on their doors and heard them whisper, “ Put that UP!  Put that  UP!  Put that UP!”  There was something they didn’t want me to see.  And you never heard such scurrying around.  I thought they were never going to open the door.
“No,” I told that congregation, “I’d just like to become the invisible man; walk through the door, and look and listen.”  And I said, “People who are spiritual–people who have really got something–live right at home.  And if you don’t live right at home, you haven’t got anything!”

SAIL THROUGH LIFE’S STORMS IN VICTORY by Joseph Prince

SAIL THROUGH LIFE’S STORMS IN VICTORY
Imagine you are a boat.  And your life is a sea you must cross.
Sometimes the water is calm, the sun is shining, and the wind is at your back.  Everything seems great.  But sometimes the sky gets dark, the winds pick up, and waves toss you around.
That’s when some believers battle anxiety.  Some worry about sinking or even become captives of fear.
But let me share this spiritual key with you, beloved, that can transform your faith journey starting today.
A boat doesn’t sink because of the water around it.  A boat sinks because of the water that gets inside it.  And that’s true for you and me, as well.
No matter what lies or harassment the enemy may throw at you, you cannot sink as long as you don’t bring those lies into your heart and mind.
When you fill your boat with promises and truths from our faithful God, the toxic waters of trouble can’t swamp you or sink you.    Joseph Prince

The Story of Two Babies in a Womb

The Story of Two Babies in a Womb
In  a mother’s womb were two babies.  One asked the other:
“Do you believe in life after delivery?  The other replied, “Why, of course.  There has to be something after delivery.  Maybe we are here to prepare ourselves for what we will be later.”
Nonsense!said the first.  “There is no life after delivery.  What kind of life would that be? The second said, “I don’t know, but there will be more light than here.  Maybe we will walk with our legs and eat from our mouths.  Maybe we will have other senses we can’t understand now.”
The first replied,  “That’s absurd.  Walking is impossible.  And eating with our mouths?  Ridiculous!  The umbilical cord supplies nutrition and everything we need.  But the umbilical cord is so short.  Life after delivery is to be logically excluded.”
The second insisted,  “Well, I think there is something and maybe it’s different than it is here.  Maybe we won’t need this physical cord anymore.
The first replied, “Nonsense.  And moreover, if there is life, then why has no one ever come back from there?  Delivery is the end of life, and in the after-delivery there is nothing but darkness and silence and oblivion.  It takes us nowhere.”
“Well, I don’t know,” said the second, “But certainly we will meet Mother and she will take care of us.  The first replied, “Mother?  You actually believe in Mother?  That’s laughable.  If Mother exists then where is She now?”
The second said, “She is all around us.  We are surrounded by her.  We are of Her.  It is in Her that we live.  Without Her this world would not and could not exist.”
Said the first, “Well, I don’t see Her, so it is only logical that She doesn’t exist.”
To which the second replied, Sometimes, when you’re in silence and you focus and you really listen, you can perceive Her presence, and you can hear Her loving voice, calling down from above.”  I believe there is a reality after delivery and we’re here to prepare ourselves for that  reality.                                              (Matthew Warner)

Your Heavenly Father Wants you blessed and Healthy!! by    Joseph Prince

Your Heavenly Father Wants you blessed and Healthy!!
“So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink?  What will we wear?’  These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs…and He will give you everything you need.”         Matthew 6:31-33 NLT
If you were a parent, wouldn’t you want the best for your children?  Would you ever want them to be diseased, poor and suffering?  Of course not.  You’d want your children to be blessed, strong and healthy, and enjoying the best things in life, wouldn’t you?
Think about this for a moment.  If you on earth know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more your Father in heaven who loves you and knows how to bless you and your children with divine health, provision and protection!
Beloved, expect to receive good from the Lord, who is full of grace and mercy, every day!

Why it is important to never give up on God’s goodness! Ed Elliot

Why it is important to never give up on God’s goodness!             Ed Elliot
“I would have despaired had I not believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.  Wait for and confidently expect the Lord;  Be strong and let your heart take courage;  Yes, wait for and confidently expect the Lord”  (Psalm 27:13-14, AMP).
The Psalmist makes a powerful point that if he had given up on trusting in God’s goodness towards him, he would have given up.  Knowing God and the fact He is a good God helps us no matter what we are facing in life to hold on to Him and His ways because we can be assured to see His goodness manifest in our lives.
You never need to give up on yourself or life as long as God is a good God, and He tells us He will never change.
“I the LORD do not change.”  Malachi 3:6

EVERYONE WHO CAME TO JESUS WAS HEALED  Joseph Prince

EVERYONE WHO CAME TO JESUS

WAS HEALED  Joseph Prince

“And the whole multitude sought to touch Him, for power went out from Him and healed them all.”     Luke 6:19

Did you know that when Jesus walked on earth, more than two-thirds of His ministry involved healing the sick?  He went about healing the sick and all who came to Him were healed.  The Bible records that “the whole multitude sought to touch Him, for power went out from Him  and healed them all.” I wish somebody in Hollywood would produce that scene in Luke 6:19  You see the sick, lame and blind coming to Jesus.  And every time one of them touches Him, BAM!  His healing virtue is powerfully released and the person is healed and overjoyed!  That’s a powerful image to have in your mind whenever you are believing in God for healing!

Preach the gospel always by Francis of Assis

We were created by love, redeemed by love, and inhibited by love.  God knows we will flourish in this atmosphere; that’s why His word teaches us to keep ourselves in God’s love Jude 21.   When people’s hearts are established in the reality of God’s love, they can easily change the atmosphere wherever they go.  Often times, the only thing missing in seeing something miraculous is love in action.
Preach the gospel always, and if necessary , use a few words.”   Francis of Assis

If You Know Jesus, You Can’t Hide It!      by Ed Elliot

If You Know Jesus, You Can’t Hide It!
Notice how the public viewed the disciples after the resurrection. “When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus” (Acts 4:13).
People who know Jesus are bold and courageous. It has nothing to do with their education or lack of it. It has nothing to do with their family, ethnicity, or the country they were raised in. People who know Jesus are easily identified by their faith in Him, which enables them to be bold and courageous when the world is fearful and timid. There is something about knowing “intimacy” with Jesus that you just can’t hide.  Intimacy with Jesus changes our characters and gives us the boldness of a lion. People take notice when a person has been intimate with the Lord; it is something one cannot hide.
“But more than that, I count everything as loss compared to the priceless privilege and supreme advantage of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord [and of growing more deeply and thoroughly acquainted with Him—a joy unequaled]. For His sake I have lost everything, and I consider it all garbage, so that I may gain Christ, and may be found in Him [believing and relying on Him], not having any righteousness of my own derived from [my obedience to] the Law and its rituals, but [possessing] that [genuine righteousness] which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith. And this, so that I may know Him [experientially, becoming more thoroughly acquainted with Him, understanding the remarkable wonders of His Person more completely] and [in that same way experience] the power of His resurrection [which overflows and is active in believers], and [that I may share] the fellowship of His sufferings, by being continually conformed [inwardly into His likeness even] to His death [dying as He did]; so that I may attain to the resurrection [that will raise me] from the dead.” Philippians 3:8-11  Ed Elliot
