Message for July 6, 2025 from Pastor Shirley

As we look at the world’s landscape today, it can be a fearful time.  In Matthew 24, Jesus speaks to the disciples about the state of the world in the last days.  In 2 Timothy 3, Paul provides detailed descriptions of what will take place, showing a period of moral and spiritual decline in these last days.  Paul called it perilous times.  Perilous means: harsh, difficult, savage, dangerous, fierce, grievous, hard to deal with. 

Praise be to our God, we have His promises of protection and provision in these days we are living and in the days ahead. 

Psalms 91:2 “I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I confidently trust!”      

When fear comes knocking at your heart’s door, stand and claim victory.  Boldly stand up  and proclaim, “No fear here.” 

The born-again are in the Ark of Salvation!  What great benefits we have been given.  He is our Protector, and in Him we will trust!

We have the good news-Jesus saves!  Our hope is in HIM, and all other ground is sinking sand.
