What Our Behavior Reveals

How we live and conduct our lives as believers is directly connected to the value we believe God places on us.  Whe the Prodigal saw that His father could and would forgive him, he experienced a new level of intimacy, joy, and celebration with his father.

The Prodigal measured his worth by his performance–just like his elder brother.  But it was their father who revealed that their worth had nothing to do with what they had or hadn’t done, how great their sin was, or how perfect their obedience had been.  It was their father’s love that unveiled their value to him.

If we don’t see our value from our heavenly Father’s perspective, we won’t walk in all that He has provided for us. Don’t let yur past define you;  let God’s love determine yur value and unveil the future He has for you.                                 Ed &Laurie Elliott
